Foley Hoag Partner Martha Coakley Receives Innovation Award from BU Law Immigrants' Rights Program

Foley Hoag LLP partner Martha Coakley has been named a recipient of the Innovation in the Law Award, given by Boston University Law School’s Immigrants’ Rights and Human Trafficking Program. The award, which honors a lawyer who has made significant contributions in the field of human trafficking or immigrants’ rights by solving a problem of access to justice through creativity, innovation and perseverance, was presented to Coakley on October 19 in Boston.
Coakley was recognized for her tremendous efforts to pass comprehensive human trafficking legislation and her outspoken leadership in the field.
