Elizabeth Holland is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation Department.
Prior to joining Foley Hoag, Elizabeth was a Program Associate and Head of Curriculum Development with the Program on Humanitarian Policy and Conflict Research at Harvard University. In this capacity, she worked on the international humanitarian law and policy portfolio, focusing on matters related to counterterrorism regulation, qualification of armed conflict, humanitarian assistance, occupation law and regulation of private military and security contractors. Elizabeth was also the producer of a monthly series of live seminars debating critical issues in humanitarian law and policy, typically attracting hundreds of academic, legal, humanitarian, military and UN professionals from around the world.
