Representative Experience

  • Obtained an order for preliminary injunction on behalf of a non-profit client in a trademark litigation that resulted in a settlement of the dispute completely in the client’s favor
  • Successfully represented a client in a false advertising dispute before the National Advertising Division of the Better Business Bureau, a self-regulatory forum used by major national advertisers that offers a fast and reliable alternative to civil litigation
  • Successfully represented a software company in a trademark opposition proceeding before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board through trial, resulting in the registration of the client’s contested trademarks
  • Obtained an order transferring a declaratory judgment action from the West Coast to Massachusetts on behalf of a purveyor of luxury consumer goods
  • Successfully opposed motion for preliminary injunction for alleged trademark infringement brought against a foreign importer
  • Conducted trademark audit for a large corporation operating in a number of states
  • Secured favorable settlement for a client defending against allegations of copyright infringement
  • Assisted in the successful representation of a foreign governmental agency in a U.S. based international trade litigation
  • Successfully assisted victims of domestic violence obtain restraining orders against their abusive partners
  • Successfully assisted and African national in receiving asylum in U.S. Immigration Court
