Case Assistant – Business Department

Seeking a self-starting and highly organized individual to assist a legal team with performing various corporate tasks for large, international client with operations in South America, Central America and Australasia. Must be a team player yet capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. Oral and written fluency in Spanish and/or Brazilian Portuguese and English is required.


  • Maintain online document management/file sharing portal.
  • Maintain corporate record books, including communicating with client and other foreign service providers to ensure completeness.
  • Draft, compile and maintain various deadline/task lists, status reports, compliance calendars, etc. and communicate with team members and client regarding same.
  • Assist with drafting of corporate resolutions, related documents and other written communications for transactions involving companies based throughout the world.
  • Maintain and organize files and datarooms for acquisitions and sales.
  • Utilize Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Nuance and dedicated corporate maintenance software and technology.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as requested by client and legal team.



  • Bachelor's degree (December 2021 or earlier).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized and effective individual.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, writing and communication skills.
  • Oral and written fluency in Spanish and/or Brazilian Portuguese and English.
  • Able to work overtime, including weekends if needed.
