    June 13, 2019

    Foley Hoag’s Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights practice group is seeking an associate to join our New York office. We seek applicants with strong academic credentials, excellent verbal and written communication skills and a minimum of 2 years’ experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working on in-court chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings representing creditors, debtors, lenders and/or other significant stakeholders. Must be admitted to and a member in good standing of the New York bar.

  • Patent Associate - Chemistry

    Foley Hoag’s Intellectual Property Department has an opening in our Boston office for an associate who is a registered patent attorney with a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry.

    We seek applicants with strong academic credentials, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and at least two years of patent prosecution experience after graduation from law school.  Experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the areas of small molecules, pharmaceuticals, synthetic methods, polymer science and drug discovery would be particularly useful.  Candidates are required to have a USPTO registration.

    Foley Hoag’s Intellectual Property Department has an opening in our Boston office for a technology specialist with a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry.

    We seek applicants with strong academic credentials and excellent verbal and written communication skills. We will consider both entry-level and experienced candidates. Experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the areas of small molecules, pharmaceuticals, synthetic methods, polymer science and drug discovery would be particularly useful. Experienced candidates are required to have a USPTO registration. A successful candidate who is not a registered patent agent will be expected to take and to pass the USPTO registration exam within a year of being hired.  Candidates are encouraged to review the USPTO eligibility criteria prior to applying.
