Foley Hoag’s Licensing & Strategic Alliances practice group is seeking junior and senior lawyers interested in joining our licensing and collaboration practice in our Boston or New York offices. A background of two or more years in patent licensing in the Life Sciences industry working with biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical device companies would be preferred.

Hands-on experience in any of the following areas would be a plus: drafting and negotiation of complex collaboration agreements, development, manufacturing and supply agreements, sponsored research agreements, clinical trial agreements, and material transfer agreements.

We staff transactions leanly, affording associates an opportunity for significant responsibility and excellent career development. Associates work one-on-one with partners or handle agreements independently, gain a depth of experience in a broad range of transactions, and get immediate client contact. Such experience has contributed to the firm’s consistently excellent rankings in national associate satisfaction surveys.
