Life Sciences Licensing Senior Associate/Counsel

Foley Hoag seeks a Senior Associate/Counsel candidate with 6+ years of experience to join our Life Sciences Licensing group.  Candidates with a background in drafting and negotiating complex technology transfer agreements in the Life Sciences industry working with biotechnology, pharmaceutical, diagnostic or medical device companies would be preferred.  The candidate should have experience in licensing, technology transfer and other technology transactions involving intellectual property as well as in conducting due diligence for corporate transactions and technology transfers in the life sciences arena. The candidate should also have experience in some or all of the following: collaboration agreements and intellectual property licenses (such as patent, know-how and trademark licenses); early stage evaluation, joint development and other strategic alliance agreements; and distribution, supply, manufacturing or services agreements.  Candidates should have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
