  • Document Specialist/Legal Administrative Assistant

    The LAA/Document Specialist is a hybrid role. The Specialist is responsible for producing consistently high quality documents, and providing world class administrative support services to internal and external clients.

    This is a Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET shift with the possibility of night and weekend OT. The Specialist may provide back-up administrative support to assigned LAAs as needed.

  • Administrative Assistant

    Foley Hoag LLP seeks an Administrative Assistant to support the patent practice group on billing and other administrative tasks. This role requires the ability to provide support across our patent specific systems and our firm-wide billing system. The main responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, opening new clients and new matters for existing clients, ensuring that our billing system is updated with client specific reference numbers as they become available, entering diary time, submitting expense reports and assisting with patent data entry and review projects as well as general office administrative duties as assigned. The Administrative Assistant must be available to work overtime when required to meet the demands of this position.

  • Patent Foreign Filing Specialist

    A Foreign Filing Specialist must have a solid understanding of the International and Foreign Patent Office rules, procedures, and guidelines. The foreign filing specialist must be able to dynamically apply their knowledge and skills in proactively managing their assigned clients and associated docketed deadlines. The foreign filing specialist must demonstrate ownership and accountability for filing formality documents in their assigned cases. Responsibilities include but are not limited to filing patent applications internationally (PCTs) and in various foreign countries (both regional and national), ensuring all formality filing requirements are completed in a timely manner, maintaining the virtual record file and providing support to the attorneys/agents on the foreign filing process. The foreign filing specialist must be available to work overtime when required to meet the demands of this position. The patent administrative assistant must also have previous docket management experience.
