Product Liability/Commercial Litigation Associate

Foley Hoag’s Litigation Department seeks a senior associate to practice in our Boston or New York office with a substantial concentration in product liability/complex tort litigation, but also to assist in commercial litigation or other matters.

Applicants should have five or more years’ experience, substantial product liability experience (ideally in multiple product areas such as pharmaceutical and medical device, asbestos, etc.), strong analytical and brief-writing skills, written discovery and deposition experience and experience with medical, scientific and similar expert areas.  Assignments will include responsibility for multiple cases as part of a national asbestos counsel team.

We generally staff litigations leanly, affording associates an opportunity for significant responsibility and excellent career development.  Associates work one-on-one with partners and gain a depth of experience in a range of matters and immediate client contact.  Such experience has contributed to the firm’s consistently excellent rankings in national associate satisfaction surveys.
