Foley Hoag’s Trademark, Copyright & Unfair Competition group has an opening in our Boston office for a lawyer with at least one year of law firm experience. Some experience in the areas of trademark and copyright litigation and prosecution is preferred.
In addition to litigation, the position will involve reviewing trademark search reports and preparing clearance opinions, handling domestic and international trademark prosecution and counseling, responding to Office Actions issued by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, handling opposition proceedings, cancellation proceedings and appeals before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and managing other aspects of trademark and copyright prosecution, enforcement and defense actions.
We staff matters leanly, affording associates an opportunity for significant responsibility and excellent career development. Associates work one-on-one with partners, gain a depth of experience in a broad range of matters, and get immediate client contact. Such experience has contributed to the firm’s consistently excellent rankings in national associate satisfaction surveys.
