Join Foley Hoag and venue co-host Louis Boston at a book discussion, signing, and reception for entrepreneur and venture capitalist Tony Tjan, who is the co-author of the book Heart, Smarts, Guts and Luck. Published by Harvard Business School Press, the book launched on August 7 and is a New York Times Best Seller and hit #1 non-fiction with Publisher's Weekly.
At this intimate event, Tony will share entertaining yet powerful examples of some of the most important leadership, entrepreneurial and business building lessons.
Heart, Smarts, Guts and Luck is geared toward anyone planning on or currently playing a role in starting, building or running a business. It takes lessons from inside and outside the business world and translates them into practical tools and principles for any would-be business builder.
The book also includes the first Entrepreneurial Aptitude Test, which was developed through the interviewing and surveying of hundreds of entrepreneurs throughout the world; try it here.
This evening of content and connectivity will be accompanied by light fare, specially-curated wine selections, and some surprises by Louis Boston. We will be accepting guests on a first-response basis.
