Getting Real: A 'Video Podcast' Series
Hosted by Foley Hoag partner Veronica Jennings to generate dialogue among and build community with women lawyers
These days, we are looking at this widespread remote working scenario as an opportunity to enhance business relationships by reexamining professional boundaries and relying on means such as video conferences and phone calls. This "video podcast" series consists of discussions with female and male attorneys about issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope you find them interesting and helpful and we are grateful to all the lawyers who made time to talk with us.
Guest: Kristyn DeFilipp, Partner, Foley Hoag LLP
In this edition, Veronica gets real with partner Kristyn DeFilipp, who focuses on litigation and health care disputes and is Co-Chair of Foley Hoag’s Women’s Forum. Veronica and Kristyn discuss Foley Hoag’s recent recognition by Yale Law Women as a top firm for parental and caregiver leave, and Kristyn’s experience working from home while caring for her two children. Veronica and Kristyn talk about how there is an opportunity right now for change in the legal profession and areas which could use reevaluation. They also reflect about the importance of lawyers taking time for personal enrichment and professional considerations.
