Getting Real: A 'Video Podcast' Series: An Interview with Bob Haney
Hosted by Foley Hoag partner Veronica Renzi to generate dialogue among and build community with women lawyers
These days, we are looking at this widespread remote working scenario as an opportunity to enhance business relationships by reexamining professional boundaries and relying on means such as video conferences and phone calls. This "video podcast" series consists of discussions with female and male attorneys about issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope you find them interesting and helpful and we are grateful to all the lawyers who made time to talk with us.
Guest: Bob Haney, Partner, Foley Hoag LLP
In today’s episode, Veronica gets real with Bob Haney, litigation partner at Foley Hoag and chair of the Labor & Employment practice in the firm’s New York office. Bob talks about growing up in Jersey City and moving back after graduating from Harvard Law School to eventually run for Congress against the Hudson County organization. He discusses the intensity of a major political campaign, fundraising and how campaigns educate candidates to be more effective in office. Bob also shares his passion for trials and courtroom advocacy, and how understanding public policy issues has helped to make him a more effective advocate for clients.
