Foley Hoag congratulates its client Ze-gen, Inc., a renewable energy company focused on biomass gasification technology, for its recent Series B financing.
Ze-gen has developed commercially viable gasification technology for converting waste streams into synthesis gas. The infusion of capital, announced in The Boston Globe, will allow Ze-gen to deploy its technology commercially and to support the next generation of research and development.
Omar Zawawi Establishment (Omzest Group of Oman, a leading Middle East based global industrial conglomerate) through Waroz Holding Company led the financing, with existing investors, including Flagship Ventures, VantagePoint Venture Partners, and Massachusetts Technology Development Corporation also participating.
