Foley Hoag Receives Perfect Score in Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index for Third Consecutive Year

The Human Rights Campaign Foundation, the educational arm of the Human Rights Campaign, released its 2009 Corporate Equality Index today, including Foley Hoag LLP among the nation’s top employers for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees, consumers and investors.

Foley Hoag has been a leader in the law firm category for a few years, usually ranking in the top quartile of employers on the index.  For the third consecutive year, the firm received a perfect score of 100 on the survey which includes questions about non-discrimination policies, diversity training and benefits for domestic partners and transgender employees.  The report notes that despite the economic downturn, an unprecedented number of companies earned top rankings this year, signaling a continued commitment to a diverse workplace.
