Foley Hoag Receives Fourth Consecutive Perfect Score in Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index

The Human Rights Campaign Foundation, the educational arm of the Human Rights Campaign, released its annual Corporate Equality Index today, including Foley Hoag LLP among the nation’s top employers for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees, consumers and investors.
Foley Hoag has been a leader in the law firm category for a few years, usually ranking in the top quartile of employers on the index. For the fourth consecutive year, the firm received a perfect score of 100 on the survey which includes questions about non-discrimination policies, diversity training and benefits for domestic partners and transgender employees. The report notes that despite the economic downturn, an unprecedented number of companies earned top rankings this year, signaling a continued commitment to a diverse workplace.
This year’s Corporate Equality Index surveyed a total of 590 employers in more than 35 industry sectors.
