Peter Rosenblum Receives MCLE Scholar-Mentor Award
November 1, 2011
Peter Rosenblum, chair of Foley Hoag LLP’s Business Department, has received one of this year’s annual Scholar-Mentor Awards from Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education for his leadership in legal education.
The Awards honored four members of the bench and bar who have demonstrated long-term service to MCLE, excellence in teaching or writing, and creativity in the suggestion of program and publication ideas. Rosenblum is a member of the MCLE Business and Commercial Law Curriculum Committee and has lectured and taught classes at Harvard Business School and Boston University School of Law.
Rosenblum is only the second corporate lawyer to receive the award in its history. This year, MCLE also honored Judge Paula Carey of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court, Stephanie Page of the Committee for Public Counsel Services in Boston, and Judge Joseph Tauro of the U.S. District Court in Boston.
Rosenblum counsels a broad range of clients in diverse industries concerning business and regulatory matters, financing strategies and structuring of corporate transactions. He is actively involved in the firm’s corporate and corporate finance practices, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, private equity and other public and private offerings of securities.
