Foley Hoag Again Ranks Highly in World Trademark Review WTR 1000 List

March 26, 2012

World Trademark Review, a publication dedicated to reporting on trademark issues for in-house and private practitioners worldwide, has named Foley Hoag LLP’s Trademark, Copyright and Unfair Competition Practice Group to its annual WTR 1000 rankings.

In addition to the firmwide ranking, Julia Huston, a partner and chair of the Trademark, Copyright and Unfair Competition Practice Group, was ranked in the top tier of the Individuals-Enforcement and Litigation category in Massachusetts. Of counsel Susan Barbieri Montgomery was listed as one of the top lawyers in the Individuals-Prosecution and Strategy category in Massachusetts.

The WTR 1000 focuses exclusively on trademark practices and practitioners. Rankings reflect the opinions of those specifically working in the trademark law field and use information from telephone interviews and correspondence with attorneys and clients worldwide.

“We are honored that our colleagues and clients have again acknowledged the quality of our firm’s trademark work,” Julia said. “We strive to help clients protect and promote their brands through trademark litigation and licensing, which is critical to the integrity of their businesses, and we are proud to be recognized as part of a select group of firms in the WTR rankings.”
