Presentation will focus on healthcare in the 21st century

April 16, 2013

Foley Hoag partner and healthcare policy expert Thomas Barker will be a featured speaker at the Medical Devices Manufacturers Association’s Annual Meeting on April 17 in Washington, D.C. Barker will detail what companies must do to overcome obstacles that may emerge in healthcare in the 21st century.

Barker will present with Paul LaViolette, partner at SV Life Sciences, on a panel entitled “Healthcare in the 21st Century - Demonstrating Value.” With increasing focus on healthcare costs, it has become critical for all parties involved to demonstrate value. These two intellectuals in the healthcare industry are expected to discuss what medical device companies must do to succeed in this environment, and address new hurdles that may emerge.
