Foley Hoag Represents Mill Road Capital in Sale of Vision 7 to BlueFocus
February 2, 2015
Foley Hoag LLP recently represented private equity firm Mill Road Capital in the Can $210 million sale of Vision 7 International ULC to BlueFocus Communication Co., Ltd. The deal marks the conclusion of a seven-month process that began when Mill Road Capital, the majority owner of Vision7, announced it was evaluating strategic options for Vision 7’s North American assets.
The transaction allows Canadian Vision7 International and Beijing-based BlueFocus Communications Group Inc. - two independent agency networks - to accelerate the ambitious growth plans of both organizations in North America and globally. BlueFocus, a leader in brand management solutions in the Chinese market, will acquire 85% ownership of Vision 7, whose major brands include Canadian agency leader Cossette and the international PR firm Citizen Relations.
Foley Hoag attorneys Peter Rosenblum and Richard Schaul-Yoder represented Mill Road Capital in the transaction.
