Foley Hoag Again Ranked in Band 1 for Public International Law in Chambers Global 2015

Paul Reichler, Lawrence Martin, Ronald Goodman and Hery Frédéric Ranjeva Recognized as Preeminent Attorneys

Chambers and Partners has again recognized Foley Hoag LLP as a leader in Public International Law, ranking the firm in Band 1 Global-wide in the Chambers Global 2015 guide. This marks the third time in five years the firm has been ranked in Band 1, the highest rating provided by Chambers Global.

Partners Paul Reichler, Lawrence MartinRonald Goodman and Hery Frédéric Ranjeva were also listed among top attorneys. In addition, the firm was ranked in Band 3 Latin America-wide for Arbitration (International).

Reichler, who co-chairs the firm’s International Litigation and Arbitration Practice, was ranked individually in Band 1 of the Global-wide category for Public International Law. He represents and advises Sovereign States disputes with other States before the International Court of Justice and other international tribunals. Chambers Global reported clients describing him as “extremely dedicated and vastly experienced.”

Martin was also ranked individually in the Global-wide category for Public International Law (Band 4). He is described by Chambers Global as: "exceptional not only in terms of his knowledge, expertise of the law, and organisational and managerial skills, but more importantly because of his character, attitude, ethics and advocacy."

Goodman was ranked in the Latin America-wide category for Arbitration (International, Band 4) and the USA category for International Arbitration (Band 4). He has vast experience representing sovereigns and sovereign entities in international arbitration proceedings. Goodman was recently appointed as Managing Partner of Foley Hoag's Washington, D.C. office.

Ranjeva, who is a partner at Foley Hoag AARPI in Paris, was ranked as a Foreign Expert in France for Dispute Resolution and as an Expert Based Abroad in Madagascar for General Business Law. He focuses on international law, as well as international litigation and arbitration, as well as commercial arbitration.
