Foley Hoag to Co-Host Conference on Natural Resources and Law of the Sea with ILI and Georgetown University Law Center

Foley Hoag LLP, along with the International Law Institute (ILI) and Georgetown University Law Center, will co-host the Conference on Natural Resources and Law of the Sea, being held on December 7, 2015 in Washington, D.C. International Litigation and Arbitration attorneys Lawrence Martin and Dr. Constantinos Salonidis serve as co-organizers of the event and moderators of two panels, while International Litigation and Arbitration Practice co-chair Paul Reichler will be a featured speaker.

Through open conversations and panel discussions, this full-day conference will address numerous timely and important issues, including principles of allocation of resources in areas under national jurisdiction; the exploration and exploitation of resources in areas under national jurisdiction; and natural resources and biodiversity beyond natural jurisdiction. International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea President Vladimir Golitsyn will deliver the keynote address. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the speakers and panelists throughout the event.

The International Law Institute (ILI) is a leading provider of training and technical assistance in international law, international economics and other aspects of international relations. It was founded as part of Georgetown University in 1955 to assist in the building of governmental and economic institutions and infrastructures in post-war Europe.
