Foley Hoag Again Ranked in Band 1 for Public International Law in Chambers Global 2016

Chambers and Partners has again recognized Foley Hoag LLP as a leader in Public International Law, ranking the firm in Band 1 Global-wide in the Chambers Global 2016 guide. This marks the fourth time in six years the firm has been ranked in Band 1, the highest rating provided by Chambers Global.
Partners Paul Reichler, Lawrence Martin, Ronald Goodman and Hery Frédéric Ranjeva were listed among top attorneys across various public international law categories. In addition, the firm was ranked in Band 3 Latin America-wide for Arbitration (International).
The guide cited Foley Hoag’s International Litigation & Arbitration group as being “first-class” and a “clear leader” for its work representing sovereign bodies in inter-state disputes, acting on a "host of headline cases of international significance, with an exceptional track record in maritime and land boundary disputes and notable experience handling cases concerning environmental law."
Reichler, who co-chairs the firm’s International Litigation and Arbitration Practice, was ranked individually in Band 1 of the Global-wide category for Public International Law. Chambers Global reported clients regarding him as “prolific” and "remarkable," with a highly skilled practice that centers on representing states in state-to-state disputes.
Martin was also ranked individually in the Global-wide category for Public International Law (Band 3). He is described by Chambers Global as being: "involved in many of the firm's most significant state-to-state disputes; sources describe him as experienced and testify to his keen technical abilities.”
International Litigation and Arbitration Practice co-chair Goodman was ranked in the Latin America-wide category for Arbitration (International, Band 3) and the USA category for International Arbitration (Band 5). Chambers Global cited Goodman as "a popular choice" for clients, who have called him an "incredible" attorney who leads deals "exceptionally well."
Ranjeva, who is a partner at Foley Hoag AARPI in Paris, was ranked as a Foreign Expert in France for Dispute Resolution and as an Expert Based Abroad in Madagascar for General Business Law. He focuses on international law, as well as international litigation and arbitration, as well as commercial arbitration.
