Foley Hoag Attorney Manuela de la Helguera to Serve as Panelist at International Investment Arbitration Seminar

Foley Hoag LLP international associate Manuela de la Helguera will participate in an International Investment Arbitration seminar being held on Thursday, July 28 and Friday, July 29, 2016 at Lead University in San José, Costa Rica. The event, organized by Costa Rican Young Arbitrators and Young ICSID, focuses on investment arbitration in the Latin American region.
de la Helguera’s panel, “Negotiation of Treaties: New Generations of Bilateral and Multilateral Agreements,” will cover new investment policies of the European Union and China, as well as recent multilateral treaties such as the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP).
As a member of Foley Hoag’s International Litigation and Arbitration Department, de la Helguera focuses her practice on international dispute resolution, particularly on investor-State disputes before the Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and international commercial arbitrations.
