IPO Recognizes Foley Hoag Attorney Jenevieve Maerker, Fellow Committee Members at Annual Meeting

The Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) recently presented Foley Hoag LLP attorney Jenevieve Maerker and fellow committee members with the Outstanding Committee of the Year Award at the 2016 IPO Annual Meeting, held at the New York Hilton in New York City on September 11-13.
IPO's Copyright Law and Anti-Piracy Committee, for which Maerker serves as secretary, was recognized for its substantial work on various projects, including preparing comments in response to four Copyright Office requests; preparing a resolution adopted by the IPO Board of Directors on Copyright Office Modernization; and advising the IPO Amicus Committee on two notable cases.
Maerker's intellectual property practice at Foley Hoag focuses on helping companies both large and small to develop and protect their intellectual property assets. She has extensive experience in trademark and copyright strategy, including selection, clearance, registration, policing, and licensing of marks, copyrighted works, and other brand assets.
