Foley Hoag Attorney Baptiste Rigaudeau to Speak at UAA, UBA 5th Arbitration School in Kiev, Ukraine

Foley Hoag LLP associate Baptiste Rigaudeau will speak at the 5th Arbitration School, to be held in Kiev, Ukraine on April 29–May 3, 2017. The five-day program is sponsored by the Ukrainian Arbitration Association (UAA) and The Students’ League of the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA). Curriculum will encompass general and specialized courses in arbitration and will include foreign and Ukrainian professionals in the field of international arbitration.

At the event, Rigaudeau will give a lecture on construction arbitration, highlighting key aspects and differences with commercial arbitration. He will also offer practical tips to students, young lawyers and in-house counsel. 

As a member of Foley Hoag’s International Litigation and Arbitration Department, Rigaudeau concentrates his practice on international arbitration, with a focus on commercial and investor-State disputes. He has experience working either as Counsel or Secretary to international arbitration tribunals under ICC, HKIAC, SIAC, SCC, CIETAC, ICSID and UNCITRAL rules.

The UAA is a nonprofit association whose main objective is the promotion of Ukraine as a venue for international arbitration. Membership is open to individuals possessing a law degree and having professional interest in the international arbitration practice. 

The Students’ League of the UBA is a student division of the largest Ukrainian law society that unites law faculty students from all over Ukraine. Its members consist of more than 1500 law faculty students from more than 50 educational institutions throughout Ukraine.
