Foley Hoag Represents Body Labs in Acquisition by Amazon

Foley Hoag LLP recently represented Body Labs, a creator of 3D body model technology, in its acquisition by Internet-based retailer Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN).

Body Labs, founded in New York in 2013, offers artificial intelligence that uses body data and computer vision to scan 3D human motion and shape. Its technology can be used to help customers virtually try on clothing or create gaming avatars that follow the human body. Seattle-based Amazon was established in 1994 and strives to be the world's most customer-centric company where people can find and discover anything they want to buy online.
