Foley Hoag Partner Tafadzwa Pasipanodya to Participate in IIEL Spring 2018 International Economic Law Colloquium

Foley Hoag LLP partner Tafadzwa Pasipanodya will be a featured speaker at The Institute of International Economic Law’s (IIEL) Spring 2018 International Economic Law Colloquium, being held Monday, February 5 at the Hotung International Law Building on the Georgetown Law Center campus. The program will call attention to today’s most pressing issues concerning trade, finance and investment in Africa.
As a member of Foley Hoag’s international litigation and arbitration practice, Pasipanodya has advised African, Asian, European and Latin States in disputes against other States concerning human rights, environmental rights, territorial claims and maritime delimitations before the ICJ, UNCLOS tribunals, and other arbitration fora. She has also represented States in investment arbitrations concerning natural resources, mining, and the environment, and has served as an independent legal expert for the African Union.
The Institute of International Economic Law (IIEL) at Georgetown Law provides a forum for legal and policy discussions in international trade, international financial regulation, international monetary affairs, transnational business and international tax.
