Foley Hoag Represents Indico in $4M Financing
February 1, 2018
Foley Hoag LLP recently represented machine learning startup Indico in its $4 million equity seed financing led by Osage Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors .406 Ventures, Boston Seed and Hyperplane.
Boston-based Indico helps users benefit from the dramatic advantages of artificial intelligence and machine learning at a fraction of the time and cost of traditional techniques. The company’s cloud-based platform helps automate tedious back-office tasks, improves the efficiency of labor-intensive document-based workflows, and extracts valuable insights from unstructured data found in documents, text, images and audio. Indico plans to use its financing to extend its product capabilities and build out its marketing team, resources and programs.
Foley Hoag attorneys Matthew Eckert, Prithvi Tanwar and Mark Cloutier represented Indico in the transaction. Foley Hoag serves as Indico’s outside general counsel.
