Foley Hoag International Counsel Analía González to Participate in ICC YAF Conference

Foley Hoag LLP international counsel Analía González will be a featured panelist at the Latin-American Chapter of the ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF) Conference, taking place March 23, 2018 in Quito, Ecuador. 

González’s panel, titled “Arbitrators: Superheroes?,” will focus on the inherent powers of arbitrators. She and fellow panelists will debate such issues as the power to order precautionary measures, the power of revising decisions, the power Iura Novit Curiae and the power of imposing sanctions.

As a member of Foley Hoag's International Litigation and Arbitration Department, González represents clients before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and International Court of Justice, and in UNCITRAL ad hoc arbitrations. She currently serves as an arbitrator in a commercial arbitration in the Mexican energy sector, and is Vice-President of the Investment-Arbitration Committee of the ICC in Mexico.
