Foley Hoag Attorney Christina Beharry to Serve on Panel for Young ICSID's Online Book Launch Series

October 23, 2018

Foley Hoag LLP counsel Christina Beharry will serve as a panelist for the Young ICSID’s Online Book Launch Series, taking place on October 25. The event is organized by the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), a leading institution devoted to international investment dispute settlement.

Beharry and her fellow panelists will discuss Contemporary and Emerging Issues on the Law of Damages and Valuation in International Investment Arbitration. This recently released book, which was edited by Beharry, examines a broad range of damages topics, building on basic principles and surveying current developments to identify trends in the jurisprudence.

At Foley Hoag, Beharry’s practice focuses on public international law, investor-state and commercial arbitration, and trade and investment policy. She has public and private sector experience in international arbitration proceedings and has experience working with valuation experts to advise clients on complex financial matters related to the valuation of businesses, environmental damages, and compensation for adverse human health impacts.

Young ICSID was launched by ICSID in 2012 to encourage professional development for young lawyers, and to provide a forum for them to discuss ideas and meet other professionals.
