Foley Hoag Represents Position Imaging in Recent Partnership Agreements

September 7, 2018

Foley Hoag LLP recently represented tracking technologies pioneer Position Imaging Inc. (PI) in two agreements that will support and enhance the commercialization of the company's package tracking systems.

Headquartered in Stratham, NH, PI is a technology company focused on innovations to improve the logistics industry. The company opened its research lab in Portsmouth, NH in 2006 and has been creating the most advanced, accurate and novel tracking technologies in the world.

In June 2018, PI entered into a landmark partnership with global technology firm Hitachi-LG Data Storage, Inc. (HLDS) for the production and manufacturing of its proprietary computer vision and radio network package tracking systems. HLDS, a joint venture of Hitachi and LG Electronics based in Tokyo, is a world leader in optical technology.

Foley Hoag attorneys Dave Renauld and Mark Potash represented PI in the partnership agreement with HLDS.

In July 2018, PI selected Durham, NC-based Bell and Howell to provide complete installation and maintenance service of PI’s new retail Smart Package Room® solution for retail customers across North America. This partnership with Bell and Howell, a leading services and solutions company, will be important to the overall success of PI's new retail e-commerce fulfillment strategies.

Foley Hoag attorney Chris Natkanski represented PI in its partnership agreement with Bell and Howell.
