Foley Hoag Partner Diana Paraguacuto Maheo Appointed Co-Chair of IBA Mediation Techniques Subcommittee

Foley Hoag partner Diana Paraguacuto-Mahéo has been selected to join the International Bar Association Mediation Committee in the role of Co-Chair of the Mediation Techniques Subcommittee.
The IBA Mediation Committee focuses on laws, practices and procedures related to the mediation, conciliation and negotiation of transnational disputes, as well as other alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes. The subcommittee is devoted to developments related to the UNCITRAL Model Law on Mediation.
As Co-Chair, Paraguacuto-Mahéo will identify, support and disseminate use of mediation best practices. She will take an active role in committee meetings, deliberations, projects and programs, including the IBA Annual Meeting in Seoul and the Consensual Dispute Resolution Competition, held annually in Vienna.
Paraguacuto-Mahéo is a member of Foley Hoag's International Litigation & Arbitration Department. She specializes in international arbitration and litigation, alternative dispute resolution and sovereign representation.
