Foley Hoag Attorneys Co-Author Section of Chambers Environmental Law 2019 Guide
February 23, 2019
Foley Hoag partners Carine Le Roy-Gleizes, Frédéric Scanvic, Corentin Chevallier and associate Pauline Leddet-Troadec were selected as exclusive contributors to provide legal commentary on key environmental law issues for the Law & Practice section of Chambers’ Environmental Law 2019 guide.
Environmental Law 2019 covers several important developments and trends in international environmental law from the most significant jurisdiction.
Their section, which focuses on France, addresses key policies, principles and laws governing environmental protection, as well as notable regulatory changes in environmental policy. The attorneys discuss environmental impact assessment and permits; three types of liability that can be imposed on operators and polluters; key laws governing contaminated land; and targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Le Roy-Gleizes, Scanvic, Chevallier and Leddet-Troadec are members of Foley Hoag’s Energy & Cleantech practice in the firm’s Paris office.
Le Roy-Gleizes works on both litigation and advisory matters having to do with environmental regulations regarding regulated facilities, industrial risks, waste management, water or air impacts, soil and groundwater contamination, health and safety-related issues, sustainable development and chemical products.
Scanvic has broad experience in the public, administrative, energy and environmental law sectors, and works on both advisory and litigious matters in these fields.
Chevallier counsels clients on mining and environmental issues, including those regarding hazardous and registered facilities, waste law, water and air quality law, and energy regulations.
Leddet-Troadec focuses on matters regarding industrial environmental law including classified facilities, waste management, technological risk prevention plans and contaminated sites and soils.
