Foley Hoag Attorney Diana Tsutieva to Speak at the Silk Road Summit
November 1, 2019
Foley Hoag LLP attorney Diana Tsutieva will be a featured speaker at the third annual Silk Road Summit, taking place on November 4, 2019 in Washington, D.C. This year’s theme is exploring business, trade and investment opportunities on the New Silk Road.
This conference, organized by the Eurasia Center and the Eurasian Business Coalition, will gather the American and international business community, policymakers, stakeholders and the public for a high-level discussion on what is dubbed the “Project of the Century” – a foreign policy initiative to revive ancient trading routes between Asia and Europe.
Tsutieva will moderate the “Advanced Transport, Agriculture and the Maritime Silk Road” panel, exploring various international trade and investment aspects of China’s Maritime Silk Road. She will focus on regulatory and legal issues, as well as different dispute resolution mechanisms to resolve legal disputes arising under the Belt & Road Initiative projects.
As a member of Foley Hoag's International Litigation & Arbitration Department, Tsutieva focuses her practice on international investment arbitration, public international law matters and international commercial arbitration. She has particular experience representing States, State-owned and private entities and individuals in international disputes.
