Foley Hoag Counsel Ivan Urzhumov to Speak at 2019 Moscow Dispute Resolution Conference

Foley Hoag LLP counsel Ivan Urzhumov will be a featured speaker at the XI American Bar Association Conference of the Resolution of CIS-Related Business Disputes, taking place on September 18, 2019 in Moscow.

The conference, co-organized by the Russian Arbitration Association, is the premier annual event focused on developments in Russian and CIS-related litigation and arbitration.

Urzhumov will appear on the “Attachment of CIS State-Owned Assets Abroad – A Comparative Perspective” panel. He and fellow panelists will discuss how various jurisdictions have approached requests to attach the assets of CIS states and CIS state-owned enterprises, including cases involving Russian, Ukrainian, Kazakh and Uzbek parties.
