Foley Hoag Partner Kenneth Figueroa to Speak at International Seminar on Investment Arbitration

Foley Hoag LLP partner Kenneth Juan Figueroa will be a featured speaker at the seventh International Seminar on Investment Arbitration, taking place in Santiago de Chile on September 23-24, 2019.
The event, organized by Instituto Peruano de Arbitraje (IPA) and Centro de Arbitraje y Mediación (CAM), will focus on the future of investment arbitration in Latin America.
Figueroa will participate on the “Indirect Expropriation before ICSID and Measures Equivalent to Expropriation: Claims before ICSID” panel. He will discuss ICSID decisions involving indirect or regulatory expropriation and recent efforts by States to limit such claims via Treaty Practice.
As a member of the firm’s International Litigation & Arbitration Department, Figueroa focuses on international disputes, particularly on Investor-State matters, commercial and construction arbitration, and litigation.
