Foley Hoag Counsel Christina Beharry to Be Featured Speaker on ILI Webinar on Investment Disputes and COVID19

Foley Hoag LLP counsel Christina Beharry will be a featured speaker on an International Law Institute (ILI) webinar, titled “Investment Disputes and the COVID-19 Crisis: The View Ahead,” taking place on Thursday, June 4, 2020.

Beharry will join other leading practitioners in the investment arbitration field to discuss the current global crisis and present the viewpoint of both investors and States. They will also provide an early glimpse of developing issues and potential cases that may arise in the months and years to come. Beharry will focus on compensation and damages, in particular.

Beharry’s practice at Foley Hoag focuses on public international law, investor-state and commercial arbitration, and trade and investment policy. She has public and private sector experience in international arbitration proceedings and has experience working with valuation experts to advise clients on complex financial matters related to the valuation of businesses, environmental damages, and compensation for adverse human health impacts.
