April 8, 2021
Foley Hoag LLP partner Giselle Joffre has been appointed co-chair of the Women's Leadership & Advancement Forum of the Boston Bar Association (BBA).
The BBA Women's Leadership & Advancement Forum is dedicated to promoting and generating fundamental change across areas of gender inequality within the legal profession. The group brings together leaders in the legal community to identify resources and best practices to empower women in the law and bridge the opportunity gap. This year, the forum will focus on inclusive hiring and retention practices, supporting new and mid-level associates, and helping women attorneys build their networks virtually.
Joffre is a member of Foley Hoag's Litigation Department and co-chair of the firm’s White Collar Group. A former federal prosecutor at the U.S. Attorney’s office in Boston, she focuses her practice on defending corporations and executives in criminal and civil government investigations, including grand jury matters. Joffre also leads targeted internal investigations of sensitive, high-profile matters.
