Foley Hoag Attorney Alejandra Torres Camprubi to Speak at Centre de Droit Maritime et Oceanique Conference

Foley Hoag LLP attorney Alejandra Torres Camprubí, Ph.D., will be a featured speaker at a conference organized by the Centre de Droit Maritime et Océanique of Nantes University, titled in French Élévation du niveau de la mer et droit international: de l’adaptation à l’action (“Sea-Level Rise in International Law: From Adaptation to Action”), which will take place at the Faculty of Laws and Political Science of Nantes University on June 15, 2021 (hybrid session also available online).  

Dr. Torres Camprubí will join leading academics in the public international law field and will address the origins and evolution of the understanding of sea-level rise as an international security issue. 

As an international dispute resolution attorney in Foley Hoag’s Paris office, Dr. Torres Camprubí represents sovereign States and State-owned entities in arbitration proceedings administered by ICSID and the PCA, as well as in inter-State cases before the ICJ and ITLOS. She is also an active member of the ILA Committee on International Law and Sea-Level Rise.
