Foley Hoag Partner Noah Shaw Named to Advisory Council for NYU School of Law State Energy & Environmental Impact Center

Foley Hoag partner Noah Shaw was named to the Advisory Council for the New York University School of Law State Energy & Environmental Impact Center, which supports state attorneys general in defending and promoting clean energy, climate and environmental laws and policies.
As a member of the Advisory Council, Shaw will assist the center in making an impact as a non-partisan and independent academic center.
At Foley Hoag, Shaw is a partner in the Energy & Climate practice and is responsible for guiding market participants, government entities and others through the legal, regulatory and policy issues surrounding the renewable energy economy's landscape. He concentrates on the renewable energy project development, contracting, acquisition, sustainable development and clean technology practices. Previously, Shaw had served as the General Counsel of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority and as a Senior Legal Advisor at the U.S. Department of Energy.
