Foley Hoag Expands Executive Compensation and Benefits Capabilities in New York with Addition of Marc Nawyn as Counsel

Marc Nawyn has joined Foley Hoag LLP as counsel in the Business Department, where he will focus his practice on executive compensation and employee benefits matters. He is resident in the firm’s New York office.

Nawyn has considerable experience advising public and private companies on structuring and implementing equity- and cash-based incentive compensation programs and negotiating and drafting executive employment agreements, consulting agreements and severance and release agreements. In addition, he assists clients in establishing and administering tax-qualified pension and defined-contribution plans, non-qualified deferred compensation plans, employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), employee stock purchase plans (ESPPs) and health and welfare benefit plans.

Prior to joining Foley Hoag, Nawyn was at Kelley Drye & Warren LLP in New York. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ramapo College, a Master of Philosophy degree from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and a Juris Doctorate from Columbia University School of Law.
