Foley Hoag Partner Tafadzwa Pasipanodya Appointed Member of ICC Africa Commission

Foley Hoag LLP partner Tafadzwa Pasipanodya has been appointed a member of the ICC Africa Commission, the ICC’s dedicated group which coordinates the arbitral institution’s range of expanding activities and growth in Africa. Pasipanodya will serve a three-year mandate, running from 2021- 2024.
The Commission was created for the dual purpose of enabling better representation of African practitioners in ICC Arbitration and increasing awareness around ICC Arbitration in Africa.
As a member of Foley Hoag’s International Litigation & Arbitration Department, Pasipanodya represents sovereign States in contentious and advisory matters concerning international law. Her practice is focused on advising States in investor-State arbitrations and State-to-State disputes concerning mineral resources, environmental harm, territorial and maritime claims, as well as human rights. She also serves as chair of the firm’s Africa practice.
