Foley Hoag Special Counsel, Professor Pierre d'Argent, Named President of European Society of International Law Board

Foley Hoag LLP special counsel, Professor Pierre d'Argent, has been appointed as President of the European Society of International Law (ESIL) Board for two years.
ESIL comprises researchers, scholars and practitioners in the field of international law who aim to encourage the study of international law and to promote a greater understanding of the role of international law in the world today.
As a member of Foley Hoag’s International Litigation & Arbitration Department, d’Argent argues international law cases before international tribunals and domestic courts. Additionally, he teaches and practices international law. He is full professor at the University of Louvain in Belgium, and guest professor at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands.
