Foley Hoag Attorney Arsalan Suleman to Speak on Panel at ASIL 2022 Annual Conference

Foley Hoag LLP counsel Arsalan Suleman will speak on a panel at the American Society of International Law (“ASIL”) 2022 Annual conference in Washington, D.C. The panel discussion will take place on April 8, 2022.

Suleman will speak on a panel entitled “Can You Hear Me? Speech and power in the global digital town square.” He will discuss the issues of hate speech and State-sponsored propaganda and misinformation campaigns on social media platforms, and their implications for human rights and public safety.

At Foley Hoag, Suleman focuses on representing sovereign States in international disputes, including before the International Court of Justice, the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, UN treaty bodies, U.S. courts, and other tribunals and dispute resolution forums. He primarily advises sovereign States and State-owned companies in Africa, the Middle East, and Central, South and Southeast Asia.
