Foley Hoag Partner Harlan Levy Elected as New York City Bar Association Vice President

Foley Hoag LLP partner Harlan Levy has been elected as a Vice President of the New York City Bar Association, one of the nation's largest, oldest and most influential bar organizations. The election took place at the City Bar’s annual meeting on May 17, 2022. Levy previously served as Chair of the Board of Directors of the New York City Bar Association.

Levy will serve a one-year term as one of three Vice Presidents, along with Hon. Jonathan Lippman, Latham & Watkins and Peter J.W. Sherwin, Proskauer Rose.

Levy is a nationally recognized litigation partner and trial lawyer in Foley Hoag's New York office. He co-chairs the firm's State Attorney General practice.

Levy clerked for a Judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit; served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Major Offense/Career Criminals Bureau of the New York County District Attorney’s Office; and was Chief Deputy Attorney General of New York State for five years.
