Foley Hoag LLP associate Alejandra Torres Camprubí, Ph.D. will give a guest lecture in French at the Université Libre de Bruxelles on Thursday, October 29, 2020. The speaking engagement will take place as part of the wider course led by Prof. Nicolas Angelet titled “Droit international et crise climatique” (International Law and the Climate Crisis).
Torres Camprubí’s lecture will address the notion of territory in international law, as well as the impacts of climate change on States’ territory and areas under States’ jurisdiction.
As an international dispute resolution attorney in Foley Hoag’s Paris office, Torres Camprubí represents sovereign States and State-owned entities in arbitration proceedings administered by ICSID and the PCA, as well as in inter-State cases before the ICJ and ITLOS. She is also an active member of the ILA Committee on International Law and Sea-Level Rise.
