Foley Hoag Attorney Juan Pablo Hugues to Speak on Law and Climate Change at IPN Colloquium

Foley Hoag international associate Juan Pablo Hugues will be a featured speaker at Instituto Polit├ęcnico Nacional’s (IPN) Climate Change Colloquium. The Colloquium is organized by IPN’s Interdisciplinary Centre for Research and Studies on Climate Change and Development and will be held virtually on November 24, 2021.

Hugues will present on “Climate Change and International Justice,” focusing on the relationship between international law and dispute settlement, and climate change.

At Foley Hoag, Hugues is a member of the International Litigation & Arbitration practice. He represents sovereign States in international disputes and advises them on public international law in areas including foreign investment, energy and deep-sea mining, law of the sea and environmental law, as well as international security.
