I oversee legal recruiting, including the summer program, IP personnel, and lateral associate, counsel and partner hiring and integration.
Nicole Archibald is Foley Hoag's Director of Legal Recruiting. In this role, she works with firm management, department chairs and practice leaders, and the firm's Hiring Committee to develop, implement and execute proactive recruiting initiatives to further Foley Hoag's hiring goals and strategic growth plan.
Nicole and her team work closely with the firm’s Professional Development and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion departments to attract, integrate, develop, retain and promote a diverse group of lawyers who will be successful in meeting the needs of the firm's clients.
Nicole has over 15 years of experience in the legal industry, with particular expertise in creating and leading recruiting policies and initiatives and strategic analysis of recruitment efforts and trends. Immediately prior to joining Foley Hoag, she worked in recruiting at two top AmLaw 100 firms - most recently as the Director of Legal Talent Recruiting at Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders, and previously at King & Spalding. Prior to her law firm recruiting experience, Nicole provided career counseling to J.D. students at Fordham University School of Law, was a legal recruitment consultant for an international search firm, and practiced law as a litigation associate.
