Anderson Chang is an associate in the firm’s Business Department. Anderson concentrates his practice on representing public and private buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions and other strategic business transactions. He advises international clients on cross-border transactions, regulatory approvals, commercial contracts and corporate governance issues, including transactions in Australasia (Australia and New Zealand) and South America (Brazil, Chile and Uruguay). Anderson also advises early stage companies on corporate governance and management, equity financing transactions and general legal matters.

In addition to his practice, Anderson currently serves as a member of the firm’s Hiring Committee.

Representative Experience

  • Represented Nelson Properties Limited, a portfolio company managed by Global Forest Partners LP, in the sale of its subsidiary, Nelson Forests Limited, one of New Zealand's leading forestry businesses, to Australian forestry company OneFortyOne Plantations.
  • Represented Body Labs, a creator of 3D body model technology, in its acquisition by Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN).
  • Represented Carolina Container Company, a subsidiary of New-Indy Containerboard LLC (a joint venture by The Kraft Group, LLC, and Schwarz Partners, L.P.) in its acquisition of substantially all the assets of Container Services Corporation, a corrugated box manufacturer based in Ringgold, Georgia.
  • Represented Mill Road Capital in its investment in Noodles & Company (Nasdaq; NDLS), a fast casual restaurant chain and franchisor.
  • Represented Living Proof, Inc., the innovative premium hair care business that solves hair problems by using breakthrough science, in its acquisition by Unilever. Living Proof will be part of Unilever’s Prestige portfolio.
